Art has been Trish’s passion since she first took lessons as a child. Every Saturday she would cycle to her teacher’s home, gradually learning how to paint in oils and oil pastels. It was here that her love of art was kindled as she worked with brushes and palette knives.
It is through developing her techniques of painting in acrylics that Trish has found her feet. Her style is marked by realism in Australian landscapes, ethereal forests and the Australian creatures that live there. Trish’s artwork has a special focus on these gorgeous rainforest and garden dwellers. Her works give the viewer an opportunity to share with the artist an appreciation for beauty, mystery and a connection with the Australian bush and wildlife.
Trish also has a passion for painting pet portraits. Over 40 years’ experience of painting pet portraits for family and friends has allowed Trish to hone her skills in capturing lifelike images of horses, dogs, cats and even hamsters.
